This was a university brief where we had to create something based on ‘Provoking Change’.
At the time we were going through autumn, and the weather was being very sporadic.
I had always wanted to create a piece of work based on global warming, so I decided to base this brief on the affects of global warming.
To represent this I used autumnal leaves to create various images. The final piece being a picture of the UK made out of leaves, and the lettering above saying ‘March’. This was to suggest the unnatural shifts of climate change.
I like using leaves not just for their aesthetic value, but because they are a representation of the shift between healthy and living, to unhealthy and dieing.
